It is indeed lovely, but I have a few questions...

The mp3s he posts, are owned by who? Did he play all this (could be so, don't know). But I didn't notice any comment on the performers. Copyright?

He does mention that his hobby is ripping[/b] music from the internet, which to me means piracy, I'm sorry to say!

Still, for such an idea, I wouldn't mind just bying CDs and sending them over to him to use, or something... I don't care much about piracy for such educational reasons, either, just saying.

Any ideas really?

Hi Nicolas,

That is a very good point that he does not mention the performer. I think this is a huge oversight.

After reading your excellent post, I contacted the guy who did that website & he says he has purchased all of his music.
Some via CD & some via paid download music sites.

He does however, go on line to “listen” to various versions & finds the performance he likes the best before buying. He was very shamed to have not mentioned the performer side of the info & will remedy this at his first opportunity.

Good for you to point this out.

anyhoo - i did very much enjoy the music & also his quirky commentary. \:D

That is excellent! For some reason it didn't occure to me to e-mail him myself... sorry about that!

Other than that, the reason I mentioned it, is that I'm researching for my own self the copyright of musical scores, in my university, etc and found out some very interesting stuff! So as long as he is using them for NO commercial revenue, whatsoever and to educate, he should be perfectly fine!

What would be also nice, would be to offer the source of the mp3s. I heard a few versions which were excellent and I would LOVE to go and buy those CDs and those versions! This would REALLY make the site awesome!

Still he is doing one heck of a job, and his commentary is "political incorrect" in the music world, and this is why I like it SO MUCH! \:D
