Can anyone inlighten me on a K Bord piano that has gold lettering that says "Member Du Jury 1878" and "Hors De Concours" Its an upright with what appears to be a cross-fire mahogany finish

There was an A. Bord piano made in Paris/Frankfurt. They started production in 1840, and since 1960 they have been made by Pleyel. Maybe Pleyel could enlighten you. Good luck.
