Happy Birthday is copyrighted, but Good Morning To You is not, and they are essentially the same song.

There is an arrangement of Happy Birthday in all different styles adapted and arranged by Eugenie Rocherolle and it is published by summy-Birchard Music. I don't know whether you can find it with that information but is kind of fun. It is sort of like the variations done in Twinkle Twinkle Little star. I hope that is helpful. Good luck. Happy

Just for "correctness" - most everyone plays it in F, and it sings best in that key. G is just a little too high and too bright.
It is a godawful tune, that I don't know a single player who doesn't cringe when someone asks him/her to play it.
I play a weekly saloon gig, and try to look busy when an obvious birthday party is going on. I get a few more tips if I play it, but it can be torture.....

I hate this tune too and detest being asked to play it, especialy on piano. It can be quite fun on electric guitar as it lends itself to a Hendrix style Star Spangled Banner rendition. I once managed to cause great shock at a girl's 21st birthday party when I was aked to get up and play happy birthday and produced this. Her father nearly had apoplexy.

I thought this thread was going to be about J. S. Bach's 321st birthday which occurred on, odly enough, on 3/21/06

Hey, I have "Happy Birthday" in several different arrangement styles like Gershwin, Debussy, John Philip Sousa, Johann Strauss, Chopin..... and the regular old boring version. I'd be happy to copy them and mail them to you or scan them in and send them to you. Just let me know if you want them.

I purchased the See and Hear Piano series years ago; and I remember he did have a very beautiful arrangement of Happy Birthday and Auld Lang Syne. Can anyone post any of those arrangements if they have them? Im a rock musician, but I simply loved the arrangements....;-)
