This custom search works much better than the built in one and allows searching older posts.

I am looking for a good resource for chords. Can anyone recommend a good book or source online?.

You can try here for starters. There isn't much here about inversions and rootless voicings, but it's a beginning. There is a lot of other good info there also. Jazz Theory

The book "Jazz Keyboard Harmony" by Phil DeGreg is a wonderful resource. It's a true workbook that takes you from 2-note shell voicings to big, full, six-voice monsters. Plus it comes with a play-along CD. You can order it from Aebersold Jazz.

Just checked out the PW thing for the first. Pretty cool. But YES, it contains a fair amount of errors.
example: check out C11. There is no "B" in a C11. Actually, there's no A# either, but we can look the other way on that one.
