I am looking for a good resource for chords. Can anyone recommend a good book or source online?.

You can try here for starters. There isn't much here about inversions and rootless voicings, but it's a beginning. There is a lot of other good info there also.

The book "Jazz Keyboard Harmony" by Phil DeGreg is a wonderful resource. It's a true workbook that takes you from 2-note shell voicings to big, full, six-voice monsters. Plus it comes with a play-along CD. You can order it from Aebersold Jazz.

to PianoWorld.com and go to 'Fun and Interesting'. scroll down to 'Piano Chords', and you should have it!!! if it doesn't work, then let me know. it definitely saved me a lot of time learning chords. \:\)

Just checked out the PW thing for the first. Pretty cool. But YES, it contains a fair amount of errors.

example: check out C11. There is no "B" in a C11. Actually, there's no A# either, but we can look the other way on that one.
