Hello World!! I'm a beginner in piano jazz playing. I'm seeking books which teach how to play Piano voicings (I mean how to play chords ind order to accompany other musicians or singers). I'm also fond of stride music (especially Thomas Fats Waller) and I would like to know some books which give lessons and exercices on stride piano improvisations. Thanx for your answers!!

Easiest way is to play the root with pinky and then on the next beat either just the 10th or just the 7th depending on the range/voice leading. It's "broken 10ths / broken 7ths" style. I do it alot, it's good for medium or quicker tempos.

Thanx so much for your answers, guys!!
"Stride and Swing looks awsome and has good comments on several online stores.
I'll also try the "broken 10ths / broken 7ths" style.
See ya
