Hi, I posted this also in ABF, but there were no responses. So:
Im a beginner with about 6 months of lessons and started recently learning Lennons Imagine (probably an easier arrangement but it sounds good)
So, my question is, do you know other nice pop/rock songs that wouldnt be too hard for me.
I want the songs with about the same difficulty as this arrangement of Imagine or could be harder, but not too much (I want to learn it in a cuple of weeks). If its possible I want that it sounds quite authentic.

thanks

Let It Be is in C and Hey Jude is usually F. Work them out from lead sheets and you'll learn more.

pian00b, I'd suggest just browsing around sites like sheetmusicplus and looking for Easy Piano collections of pop/rock songs. There's a gazillion of them, and you ought to be able to find one that has a large number of songs you like. I recommend collections arranged by Dan Coates... he does great arrangements that aren't technically complicated but sound very nice.

@ Bradley Sowash
Thanks for the suggestions. However, altough I can work out some melodies of songs Im absolutely terrible at making an arrangement for piano and vocal of it, even if I have chords. I dont have a enough good ear, I assume. But I will try.
@ Monica Kern
Thanks, thats seems like an excellent site! I hope Ill find a shop here that sends this, but if not: Do they send this books in Europe?
Another questions, do this books exist in digital format? (that way I could buy them from Internet)

With most of these sheet music web sites you buy the right to make one (or more) print-outs. So you pay $3.95 or whatever and then you can print the sheet music once. No need to download anything, although you may need to install a special plug-in first. Very easy and quick.

pian00b,

If you want to take a personal look at the notations and scores seek out the music stores -- the ones that sell musical instuments, especially guitars (and of course pianos). They often carry sheet music.

'Hope you're able to find something enjoyable to play near your planet!

Here's an example of the kind of collection I was talking about:

100 easy piano pop hits of the 90s, arr. by Dan Coates

or

VH1\'s 100 Greatest Rock Songs for Easy Piano

These are actual books, but I believe SheetMusicPlus will ship to England. They also let you look at a sample page so you can see whether it's at the right level for you.
