This is going to make me nuts! There is a one in a thousand chance that someone can help me, but I'll try nonetheless. There was this Hallmark commericial on t.v. where this woman is talking about how her and her dad used to take a walk every Christmas Eve right before midnight, and then wait for Christmas looking over the valley. This year she can't be there, so she sends a card, he walks alone, and opens it in the night. ANYWAYS, what is that music!? It's beautiful. That piano music that starts with just chords, then begins to add a faint base line (broken chords?) to the main chords, and then starts running all around in the middle, and then cuts off at the end of the commercial with a cadence that clearly was added to shorten the piece. Anyone!?

The last line/phrase is the hook from the Hallmark commercials;
But the chord progression is that tune I often hear at weddings.

It sounds in D Major and like Canon but improvised in a George Winston style. I found the film more interesting. It was touching and I wondered if it's really like that in Minnesota now.

I guess this technique he uses is like tapping, only with one hand on one guitar and the other hand on another guitar. Pretty neat; but looks hard. It is sort of like two guitars like a piano. All that music on only 12 strings total. It is totally amazing... this guy needs to go on America's Really Got Talent or Leno. Reminds me of that the accordian player playing the Toccatta fuge in D; some people are so gifted.
