tulleh Full Member Registered: 06/30/07 Posts: 35 Loc: N. Ireland, UK	Is there a set way of doing the glissando in "I don't like Mondays" by the boomtown rats? I'm quite sure I've seen different ways of doing it. I'm not sure how to interpret the 15va and 8va notation. I know they mean play one octave/two octaves higher, but I don't really understand the glissando to know what to do :p

99gnome Junior Member Registered: 08/02/07 Posts: 16 Loc: Germany, Cologne	I for once (only from hearing, never saw the/a score) do the glissando like this: Pedal down and the i go over the black keys right to left with my whole hand, about an octave or two, then repeat the same thing a bit down, and again, and again. Sounds difficult, but is totally easy $\:\)$ hope that helped $\:D$
