Hello everybody, I m a fan of piano music, I like playing/listening classical and popular music too.

Latelly I ve learned wutherings height (Kate Bush) and jealous guy (John Lennon) . Great songs, I cant stop playing them, and I would like to find other popular songs with similar piano technic.

I would really appreciate if you could tell me few titles of pop. songs with a touch of classical influence. smile

Thanks.

have you heard of "I want love" by Elton John, which i thought is a pretty good one even with some modulations in the middle.

I ve checked that song before I replied to be more sure, I didnt hear any particular piano parts eccept chords, its piano style is different from the songs I ve named above, or Bohemian Rhapsody (queen)with somewhat classical piano technic.

But still Thank You for replying!

there is a "Beatle concerto" (piano with orchestra though), which i don't remember who wrote it but heard it on radio one day. it's a concerto which's based on some beatle songs but seems quite long though. maybe you are more interested in this type.

found a link to its recording:

i was wrong. it's only for orchestra, but it would be great to get the piano arrangement for it.
