Hi harmonicaparition, I'm not as familiar with the Final Fantasy genre, but after listening to all of Honnli's pieces on this month's Piano Bar in the AB forum, I'm rapidly becoming a big fan! (If you haven't heard them yet, go check that thread out. There's some amazing stuff in it.)

Anime music has a lot of nice pieces in the same style as FF. Here is a good web site with lots of anime sheet music. Scroll down the page until you get to "Rorouni Kenshin". "Departure" is a very easy piece. "Her Most Beautiful Smile" is slightly harder but even more beautiful. That website also has at least one FF piece.

Sango's Theme from Inuyasha and The Bear's Melody from Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar(!) look good for beginners as well. Not that I'm looking to add to my out-of-control sheet music collection . . . \:D

Thanks for mentioning me, Monica. \:\)

Here is a website specializing in music from games released by SquareSoft and Square-Enix. It has a lot of fan-arranged sheet music of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts music which are easier than the official arrangements. Just go to the 'Arrangements' section and you'll find them.

For anime music, this site has quite a lot of anime sheet music.

I got most of my videogame and anime sheet music from Piano Squall . He has arranged quite a few Final Fantasy pieces and they're very beautiful, but they're on the difficult side. But even if you can't play his arrangement, I hope he will be an inspiration to you as he has really inspired me.

Cheers \:\)
