I sure can, thegreatchinaman. I will send you a private message so I can email you. This piece of music is something I never completed but I will give you what I have. Thanks for your interest.

For me, the 'unplugged' version, is well suited to piano, or acoustic guitar. I enjoy playing this on either instrument.

It is in Dm, by the way.

Beginning chords are: Dm Bb C Dm
Happy to supply the rest on request smile

Apologies! After re-reading the thread, I realised that it was the Coda to the original version, that the OP was asking about.

Please ignore my errant post blush

This is a very old thread, but I read some interesting sidebar discussions on the recording...here is another... my daughter, who is a journalist at a newspaper, had occasion to interview Rita Coolidge who was playing a local concert. Rita says that the piano part was HER creation, and that she had played it for Gordon (her boyfriend at the time) at some point during a demo session.

From http://www.billboard.com/articles/c...ir-delta-lady-eric-clapton-derek-dominos

"In her just published memoir Delta Lady (Harper), Coolidge details a songwriting session with Jim Gordon, who went on to co-write and record “Layla” alongside Eric Clapton. Coolidge says she conceived what would one day become the song’s piano-laced coda as an unfinished demo with Gordon in 1970."
