I am still hunting for a Bach and a Gounod youtube video of Ave Maria...

but look at what I stumbled upon while searching for your Ave Maria's... it is a stunning video of Ave Maria is by Giulio Caccini sung by a boys choir with lots of strings. Please have a listen... it's beautiful.

Irving Berlin wrote White Christmas... I like the song regardless of who has made the tune famous. It is a well crafted tune.

excerpt lyrics...

The orange and the palm trees sway...

But it's December the 24th
And I'm longing to be up north....

Also the song has been covered well by others besides Bing. Just a thought to consider.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Okay, to answer your question, my favorite Christmas song would be "Oh Holy Night."

The modern ones I enjoy:

Feliz Navidad
Happy Christmas (John Lennon)
It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
Silver Bells

and the list goes on. I realize that Feliz Navidad doesn't have much in lyrics, but it is such a happy tune.

I liked the part where the train derails off the mountain top... I didn't know Queen did a Christmas tune until now.
