Not trying to spam here, just a dear friend of mine, who is a fine Jazz pianist... and classical pianist... just released his second CD. It has some standards, and some originals, 4 vocal tracks and you can preview it at CD Baby. His website is www.jasonwanner.com. From there you can link to CD baby. He has such amazing talent, and it was his inspiration that brought me back home to piano. I would appreciate anyone checking it out. If you like it say so!

Lee,

Thanks so much for looking! He is very modest about his singing, and even debated on doing vocals or not. I think he did a fabulous job. I wish I could play half as well as he does. He plays pretty mean classical music too, and has the most wonderful upbeat happy go lucky personality. I wish him the best of success.

Do you like Jamie Cullum? I got his CD a few months ago, and it's fantastic! I am sure you know of him, as he is from the UK.

Thanks again!

Hi Denise

Yes I like Jamie Cullum \:\) ...I've seen him in concert and he was superb (IMHO)

Have you seen his latest DVD "Live at Blenheim Palace"?...if you haven't seen him live, it is almost as good as being there

regards

Lee

Jason sounds a bit like Harry Connick, Jr. Cool stuff!

Thanks Mark!! Harry is one of his favorite contemporary artists. When he was in younger, he learned to play Connick tunes totally by ear.

He had 4 cd's at cd baby, and all have sold out... (they only allow 5 for your initial lot, 4 for sale one for upload) he sold them in less than 12 hours, the asked him to send in 30 this time, at first they said ten, but they checked the requests and promptly called him back. He put out a cd 6 years ago, but sold it only at festivals and a few Trad Jazz sites.

Lee, No i havent seen Jamie Cullum Live, but I would love to. I will have to check out the DVD.

Thanks to the two of you for checking out his CD. \:\)

Thanks again to everyone who checked it out! \:\) If you live near Sacramento, he plays a ton in the Jubilee at the end of this month. He plays all over on the trad Jazz circuit in the North west, and on ocassion the band moves east.
