Thanks for that. The transcription I posted is actually of a performance on his La Scala CD, and a little different from the performance you posted. [/b]
Does anyone know if there is a transcription of the performance from Tokyo posted by J.Mark. I've played the La Scala transcription and I love it, but I think the Tokyo performance is even more beautiful.

Just paste in the complete URL and click, "Take Me Back." The latest touch-date seems to be Jun 11, 2007 and is probably what you want.

Thank you for posting this. I never knew it existed! The official transcription is so much easier to read than the hand-written ones.

big thanks also to DDS24P&FOP87 for posting the original topic. What a cool arrangement.

I worked on Over The Rainbow for several lessons with my late great jazz piano teacher and he wrote out a variety of alternate changes that really put me into another direction of thinking. He used a lot of reharmonization and inner voicing techniques and other cool ideas. I still use his changes and keep playing it. After hering KJ's arrangement awhile back, I realized I hadn't played the tune for a long time, so I looked at my lead sheet again and got inspired to go over it

I wonder if Jarrett was influenced by composer Gerald Finzi's beautiful "Eclogue"? I have a score if need.
