Hi all,
I play piano from lead sheets and my daughter wants to try a duet with me. She plays the clarinet and the sax.
How can we do that?

You can get a Bb Realbook.

Hi,
Most common clarinets are in Bb (but not all clarinets). So if there's a C on the score you'll play a C on the piano but she'll actually be playing a Bb. So you need to write out a second scores with every note shifted by two semitones. So if her score says D the note she plays will then match a C on your piano score.
Tenors saxes are also in Bb, so the same applies. But altos saxes are in Eb, so there's a bigger adjustment needed.
Some players apparently learn to transpose as they read, but it's much easier to just write out two different scores.
