Can anyone recommend a really good (not simplified) arrangement of "As Time Goes By," ("You must remember this--") from Casablanca?

Thanks, I thought nobody was going to respond! I'll give it a shot. I love that song. I named my piano "Sam" as in "Play it Sam."

I have a couple of arrangements, one is from the Steinway series. Here's a link. http://www.pianotoday.com/Steinway.html

Erroll Garner recorded 'As Time Goes By' on MGM on 12" LP 1964, E-4335 USA SE -4335 and ST 90600 USA. plus a couple of 45rpm 7" USA. It may be on LP now, but not sure. All dated 1964. It's easy to pick out on the piano. I would just get the basic theme correct and then embelish it to suit your own taste.
I've just been downstairs and played the first few notes as follows:- G G# G F E F F - G Bb G# G F G# G# - Bb Bb Eb D C Bb C - and so on. You will realize the upward progression and I hope this is of some help.
