Hello everyone,
I am in a band and the band manager wants me to come up with a piano solo for Mustang Sally in C. Any suggestions/ideas are greatly appreciated!
Thanks, have a great day!

I agree with the listening advice. Try searching on youtube, there are loads of versions there to listen to, and you can get soloing ideas from other instruments. Anything in the groove on a blues scale will work - I plan to do some recording tomorrow so if I have time I will try to put a few suggestions on to a video for youtube.. not that I am setting myself up as an expert on this, but I have had to solo over it a few (thousand) times.

Heh, heh. Must be the hazarous waste in the drinking water around here in Louisiana. Still have your version of Yesterday in my favorites too. Was your base line on Mustang a modified "Watkins Roll"?
