This guy is insane! You gotta check out the first video and the one of him playing the song "Imagine" backwards, no joke....

here's another link the the imagine video, looks like the original is broken (but the video game music videos still work). Not the best rendition i've heard but not bad for playing with your hands behind your back!

This was an amazing clip. I even called in my entire family to see it. Then I tried to play backwards on my own piano. It hurt just to put my arms in that position, and I still don't see how he was able to pedal.

You really gotta wonder what possessed him to play backwards in the first place, though...

Did you see the speed that he plays the mario brothers theme music at in the first link? He plays a ragtime like waltz with stride bass accompaninent at a crazy pace....I think it starts about 2 minutes from the end of the clip...

Just checked it again. It's the "super mario piano" clip at ~9:15 ...

Am I the only one that caught that he was hitting wrong notes like crazy when he sped up that Super Mario Bros 3 song (the rag waltz thing)? He has fast hands, but his techniqueis lacking.

Just go listen to the midi and you'll hear the wrong notes on the bass progressions.

Sorry, but I'm not a big fan of the Blind Folded Pianist (his internet pseudonym). There were a few threads about him a long time ago that didn't go so well in the Pianist Corner. Just search for them and you'll see.
