I was curious if there were fully written out transcriptions of piano solos (as in, including the literal left-hand). I can't say my right hand soloing is masterful, but it is far in advance of my left-hand chord technique. I'm curious how advanced players play the chords, and I also think it would be interesting to do an in depth study of a full jazz improvisation. I suppose the ragtime pieces of Scott Joplin would be of interest to study as well.

Yes, I believe there are many complete transcriptions of Evans, Jarrett and other great jazz pianists.

Bill Evans is a master about the modern jazz pianist's left hand.

The Scott Joplin's left hand chords are more simple, with less dissonances.
