I just won tickets to go see Bruce Hornsby this weekend. Any of you going? More importantly if you have ever seen him live, how do you like his playing?

I like his playing. He's an excellent musician and very good at what he does. Hornsby's playing reminds me of a 1980s Keith Jarrett, minus the "steroids" and about 3 fingers! He's not as technically proficient as Keith, not by a long shot, but capable of the same type of lyricism in his lines along that same type of "new age" piano style.

That's great!

I've never heard him play though.
