This is a lovely arrangement of the song for violin and piano (a great combo!) that really tugged at my heartstrings and touched me deeply. The violinist, Anne Akiko Meyers, is another distinguished former student of Alice Schoenfeld (USC) and the late Dorothy DeLay (Juilliard). I am guessing this was performed as an encore. I think it is a very intimate and individual performance that had me reaching for a hanky.(Classical music/Samuel Barber fans will find an electrifying live performance of the Barber Violin Concerto by Anne Akiko Meyers on the same YouTube channel. I will never forget how fortunate I was to also hear her perform this at USC. The audience just exploded in applause when she was through.) I love her pinpoint intonation and that unmistakable, bright, silvery tone.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnf0I0Ks36I

Here is an audio-only clip of violinist Gidon Kremer performing it with pianist Oleg Maisenberg. This interpretation is even more wistful and nuanced, and you can hear the piano part better. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwsMltCS2fA I am going to get the sheet music....

I am sure of it (especially if it is as heartcrushing as his version of "You Must Believe in Spring").

*Eternally/Terry's theme/Candilejas or whatever you want to call it, is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written in any time period and fitting for one of the most beloved films from any decade. Here's a recording on saxaphone done splendidly. *All these titles for the same song, goes to show how music is a universal language that we try our best to label. P.S- in case the message above didn't give you a hint, I'd like to say, If you haven't seen Charlie Chaplin's Limelight its an absolute MUST SEE, BUY it now... EDIT: I TOTALLY FORGOT THE LINK TO THE PERFORMANCE ETERNALLY

Hi Mikka, your link isn't working. I'm really interested in seeing your arrangement. Could you please send it to me as a PDF? Thanks.
