You say much with few notes, modulating between contentment and haunting despair - very nice. I really liked the touch of strings too.

Very pretty, very simple. Might want to build up a bit towards the end, but a nice piece.

John: Yes, the piece could do with a bit more variation and excitement. I'm working on another piece that should improve on this song in that and other aspects. As a guitarist writing these kind of songs really require a mentality change so it might be a while before I remove Chopin from his throne. wink

It's tight... it's playful. Not giving into being a happy song or a sad song... its teasing you back and forth with moments that feel uplifting... then its accidentals bring you back down to a trial and tribulation like walking a hard road. I like it alot. Congrats on this piece. It's story has a progression, though its a little short and I feel its completion should have a more finished ending and change of start to finish feel.
