A composition for two pianos!!! Greetings everyone! My name's Dan and I'm a new member to these forums. I've seen and heard lots of great things about this place so I decided to join. My main interests lie in composition and my intention is to grow and help others grow as composers so if any of you have questions on composition feel free to shoot them my way. I'm also quite the avid "classical" music listener and look forward to engaging in good-natured, enthralling convos on the subject. Here's a link to a composition of mine for two pianos entitled Experiments II It's minimalist in nature and my main objective in writing this piece was to create evocative, rolling rhythms and chord progresions. I'd love to hear what you think and if you have any questions feel free to ask!

It's not bad. I like the chords, but I think the midi file destroyed the piece. I think there would've been a lot more there, had we heard a human interpretation in duet fashion, like it's supposed to be. The midi file, I'll agree (with signa), was a bit tiresome...but again, that could just be the midi.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate your feedback. You're right the rhythms do tend to get a bit tedious, but such is the nature of minimalist music, and I also agree that a live recording might make it a more enjoyable listen. For something live and less minimalist check out: Iberia-Desconhecido I'd love to hear what you think!
