I always thought it would be cool to win an
acadamy award for Best Musical Score...anyone
else share that fantasy? The music has to
be good to win, generally speaking...at least
popularly accepted.
Favorite movie scores from the past:
My Fair Lady
Sound of Music
Simon & Garfunkles "Graduate" music
and I love the opera scene in the Sci-Fi movie:
the Fifth Element..the lady in the blue plastic
outfit...do you know the scene?
The truest insights into a person's
character are two things:
1. How he treats people who cannot help him.
2. How he treats those who cannot
fight back.

No, not at all, but for years I have been told by various people that much of my music would be good for films.

I would love to...John Williams is among my favorite composers of all-time. \:\) However, *points at own score* it's just not nearly as good. ;\)
Every day we are afforded a new chance. The problem with life is not that you run out of chances. In the end, what you run out of are days.

Yes. And again yes, John Williams is among my favorites too.

I would like to make music for documentaries. \:D

I recommend film libraries for those wanting their music in film. There’s a lot of competition there but if you have the right product at the right time it can get you a start.

The music you submit to these libraries has to be of master quality. They won’t re-record anything.

Best, John
