This is a book of 6 pieces entitled Night Textures (Book 1, original version). I finished these sometime last year and have been performing them since, as well as trying to get other pianists to look at the score. My composition teacher (Dr. Bauman, a retired professor at Frostburg U) Absolutely loves them, and hopefully you will too! laugh

By the way, I recommend Night Texture 5, entitled Spindle, to get you introduced to my music. The general audience responds to it the best.

... If anyone is interested in looking at the score, just let me know! smile

... enjoy the rhythms! laugh

Very impressive. I like your harmonies. In general I found them to be somewhat reminiscent of Prokofiev's Sarcasms. I think my favorite of the bunch was Andromeda, which seemed a bit reminiscent of Bartok's Music for Strings, Percussion, and Celesta. Seashell was good too - reminded me a bit of Debussy.

What you are is an accident of birth. What I am, I am through my own efforts. There have been a thousand princes and there will be a thousand more. There is one Beethoven.
