Hello,

This is my first post altough I've been browsing through theese forums few months earlier. Now I think I could share some of my own compositions here.

Theese are pianoforums so maybe I could start of with a live recording of my second piano concerto. It is composed January-April, 2008. Premiere washere in Finland May 15th, I as a soloist and a good friend of mine Madis Järvi conducting. The orchestra is a 4-4-2-3-1 string orchestra which consists of students.

First movement is called Introduction & Scherzo. It starts tranquilly and developes in to humorestic scherzo. Scherzo is groqing towards huge candenza (which is improvised). After cadenza there is a small coda and the movement dies away.

Second movement is called Aria. It consist of simple A-A-B-A structure. Movement starts with a slow interlude wich leads to the movements main theme. Main theme is played again by piano following a flowing secondary subject, which is developed and reaches the climax and drops back to theme 1 which dies away.

3rd movement is short, insane joke. It is somewhat in rondo form. The coda is the same melody as in 2nd movement which leads to a quick 4 bar ending phrase.

Anyway, here are the links:

1st Movement 2nd Movement
3rd Movement

Thanks all for your curiosity!

ps. the encore piece is also my composition, it is called etude and is it's composed at 2007.

Very, very, very impressive. I enjoyed this thoroughly. I don't have much feedback to give as far as specifics - it would take a few more hearings for me to be able to do that, but I don't know how much it would matter - what you have here is really good and I wouldn't change it in the slightest...

Bravo!!!

I agree with 8ude that's excellent stuff, and how good it must be to have your music performed live like that. Without the score it's kind of difficult to comment too much and it's difficult to tell what's due to the recording and what is how it's written. It's a pity the ending doesn't build up more, but that's a minor complaint. Well done!

I LOVE the movement 2, that is by far the most amazing thing I've heard on these forums to date, thanks so much. Listened to it 5 times now.
