hi
i hope this right forum to post this question
I had an idea that would be easier to read notes if they would be colored.

Then i found in sebelius some bownhacke(?) scheme for colored notes.

My question is this some coloring standard (bownhacker) , or there is some other colorization "standard".

thanks

Boomwhackers are a product designed for preschool and elementary school education classes. More here:

The Boomwhackers scheme disturbs me: I have synaesthesia and my letter colours are completely different from their scheme. I wonder how many musicians have synaesthesia of a similar kind?

I have exactly the same problem with any attempt to link letters and colours. I realised how strong it was when I tried to make scale charts for some of my students and wanted to mount them on different coloured cardboard. The colours were never right, and if I'd had to put F on any other colour but light blue (for example) it would do more than annoy me, it would, as you put it, disturb me.
