Are you guaranteed not to die before hearing the pieces? If so I would probably choose very long pieces. Maybe Schubert's Unfinished, including the unwritten movements.

No. What with Richter's glacial tempo in the Schubert D960, there is no way I'll outlive that. The light from our nearest galaxy (2.5 million light years distant) in the Andromeda constellation will reach us before Richter's ponderous meditation completes its cycle.

Time may stand still for the great Richter, but for the rest of us, I need to catch the Tube and be damn well certain I'm off at the 'Bank' stop.

A good mate of mine claims to have gone a week before Arrau's recording of the Waldstein finally reached its C major cadence.
