Rudolf Piano Company of New York - Any Information?

This is just a basic information request. I very recently purchased a Rudolf Baby Grand piano and am interested in the history of the manufacturer. I know that the creation of the company dates at about 1903. I cannot however, locate anything on the company's history save a single quote:
"A reliable piano produced by experienced piano makers under an economical system in a successful endeavour, to offer to the trade and the public a musical and durable piano at a reasonable price. Not especially impressive to gaze upon but they sound beautiful, stay in tune for years at a time, and are loud as hell."
Can anyone provide me with anything else on this company? - their dates, their reputation, etc. I'm just fascinated to know all that I can know. Anything you've got is welcome.
Thanks.

Rudolf Piano Co.863 E.145th ST. NY After 1929 they were made by Winter Piano. Post the serial Number we'll tell you the age. Winter and Winter made were not one of the better pianos.Prior to '29 it was a fair low price piano.

Here's the serial number. The piano is in good condition and has a nice, surprisingly warm sound.
Here is the serial number:

Thanks so much! It's already interesting information.

The last recorded number in 1929 (the last yr.) 93000.Winter started with six digit numbers (112000)My guess yours was already assigned a ser.# and Winter finished them first before the new numbers kicked in.So you can brag on yours being a HiBred (HA).

This is probably an obvious thing to most, but what is being referenced to determine the date?
And while i'm at it - thanks so much for the information. It's great to hear.

Interesting! You've got to wonder how much of the instrument was actually completed by the time winter and winter took over. Hmmm. I guess we'll never know.
Might I ask what you're referencing for this information? I'm sure it's common knowledge on this board, but I'm naive.
Thanks again. I really appreciate the help!
