I bought a new Roland FP7 that I am very happy with in general.

However, the pedal that comes with it slides all over the floor and drives me crazy. I really don't want to nail it down (my wife would be none too happy with that solution).

I'm sure you all have good solutions for this problem.

A different/better pedal?
Some kind of housing for it?
Some way to anchor it to the stand?

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

I thought Roland pedals had piece that swings out of the base that you rest your foot on to fix that very problem?

I the pedal has mounting holes, you could bolt it to a wide piece of plywood. The plywood could even be as wide as the DP, and so it wouldn't move around. You could even finish the plywood to give a nice appearance.

Thanks folks, I ordered a 'creepnomore' from Sweetwater for $19.95. It looks like a good solution, we'll see.

Roger - I use the Roland DP-10 pedal. It has a rubber base that can be extended forward so it stays under your heel. Highly recommended.

The Roland DP-10 looks like a good solution and if I had known about it when bought my FP7 I would have tried to get them to throw it in.

I received the 'Creepnomore' from Sweetwater, it works great and was only $19.95.

Not as elegant a solution as the DP-10 but it does the job.

Thanks for the advice folks. I'm a happy puppy.
