oh come on! Do you play on a real pipe, or use an electric? Electric. Hammond B-3. I do kick my own bass though, a la Barbara Dennerlein, Groove Holmes, etc. I have played an Allen electric that amazingly, did sound very close in realism to a large pipe organ.

At the church I work at, I play a 2-manual Ahlborn-Galanti (Angelus model).
I also have access to a three-manual, 50-rank Moeller, a three-manual, 51-rank Kleuker, and a 2-manual, 17-rank Dobson. All wonderful instruments.

you are so lucky ChemicalGirl.. i'm glad you are still around.
What are you playing these days? i am working on my AGO certification and need some non-Bach* organ works to play. Do you have any favorites? (*not to challenging for the feet).

What kind of organ do I play? There is only one kinds, "A PIPE ORGAN"! The organ I play I built! It is a direct electric 6rank 2 manual pipe! My ranks are diapason, Melodia, Salicional, gemshorn, vox humana, and a capped oboe! The organ has a bourdon16' and also 8' diapason. The bourdon has a Libelick gedect also! Great little instrument, but, I want to expand to 15 rank, give me time!!!

The organ where I'm paid to play is a little two-manual, 15-stop organ:
Great: Principal 8' Rohrflöte 8' Oktave 4' Blockflöte 4' Quinte 2 2/3' Schwiegel 2' Mixtur 1 1/3'
Upper: Holzgedackt 8' Koppelflöte 4' Principal 2' Quinte 1 1/3' Zimbel 2/3'
Pedal: Subbass 16' Rohrpommer 8' Choralbass 4'
A small organ, but it sounds quite good. The downside is the lack of reeds, but otherwise I like it.
I also sometimes practice on larger, three-manual, 34-stop instrument in a nearby church:
Great: Bourdon 16' Principal 8' Hohlflöte 8' Octave 4' Spitzflöte 4' Quinte 2 2/3' Superoctave 2' Cornet V 8' Mixtur IV 1 1/3' Zimbel III 2/3' Fagott 16' Trompete 8'
Choir: Gedackt 8' Principal 4' Rohrflöte 4' Octave 2' Sifflöte 1 1/3' Sesquialtera II 2 2/3' Scharff III 1' Dulcian 8'
Chest (that's how I'd translate Brustwerk): Holzgedackt 8' Gedecktflöte 4' Nasard 2 2/3' Waldflöte 2' Terz 1 3/5' Vox humana 8'
Pedal: Subbass 16' Octavbass 8' Quinte 5 1/3' Octave 4' Mixtur IV 2' Posaune 16' Trompete 8' Trompete 4'
Great dispositon. I only deplore that there's no swell and no combination action, and only one manual coupler (choir-great). But it makes a wonderful sound.
But if I had the money and the space to build it (or have it built), I'd prefer something more French-styled (à la Cavaillé-Coll) myself.
