I started playing piano when I was 8 years old and really got into it at 12. I guess thats when I started loving it, not that long ago.
Oh, and EmilyChopin, I love your signature!!

BJones: "I improvised and recorded a harmonically contrapuntal four voice fugue based on "I'm Popeye the Sailor-Man" on my Hammond two weeks ago that I'll upload soon."
Oh, this is good. I thought I was the only person who plays "Popeye the Sailor Man." A four-voice fugue, I'm impressed. I Wonder if you know the words to the second verse. The first goes:
I loves a kaizukas with any palookas That ain't on the up and square. I biffs 'em and boffs 'em and always out toughs 'em And none of 'em gets nowhere. If anyone dareses to risk my fisk It's bif and it's bam, understand? So keep good behavior, it's your one life savior With Popeye the Sailor Man.
The last words to the second verse go: So always remember I'm your sure defender, I'm Popeye the Sailor Man.
I'd love to know the whole verse... but it's been a long time since I was the right age to watch Popeye cartoons. There was whole feature with him doing the hornpipe and singing the song.
To the OP's question, I've loved the piano since I was about five years old. Some say I haven't made that much progress since...
