What are the top 7 most difficult Bach works for keyboard? These do not include Goldberg, or WTC. Examples are the French Suites, Paritas, Fugues.

You know what, let's just say the hardest out of the Suites and Partitas, no WTC, GOldberg, or Fugues.

Okay then, how about this? The top 7 hardest Bach works for SOLO keyboard not including the Goldberg, WTC, Art of Fugue, inventions, etc. Just out of the other solo works.

The two that spring to my mind are the last movement of the Italian Concerto, which has its awkward moments, and the six voice fugue from the Musical Offering.
I'm sure there are harder things I haven't yet found though!

I'd wager that the Wedge Fugue has a place in your ranking.

The A minor Little Prelude, BWV 943(?)--I know advanced pianists who can't sight-read this, and I know several who tried learning it and didn't succeed. Actually the Bach inventions I'm learning now seem to be a lot easier than this piece.
