Hi everyone. I've been interested in serial music for a long time and finally found a piece that I could play. I thought I'd share a first try.

I'd like to apologize in advance for the poor sound quality. Laptop speakers can only record a limited range.

Enjoy!

Sound quality's fine. You need far more emotion. Most don't realize but Webern was a very emotional composer.

Yes, I actually trying to aim for that.

I was disappointed because all of my dynamics were lost in the recording (the laptop won't fully pick up the the more extreme ranges). In general, what do you suggest? More contrast in dynamics? More freedom in rhythm and tempo?

I appreciate the input!

An external microphone, in that case.

Any emotional interpretations on the way? I'd love to hear one.

I'd like to rerecord the piece, but I don't have a decent microphone at the moment. I'm looking into the Zoom series currently -- I'll probably be able to post a better recording in a few weeks (when I have the money to buy one).

Sorry for the delay!
