it was great to be exposed to a genre i am totally unfamiliar with and hear the awesome theater organ which used to be in a theater in KCKansas and now resides in splendor at our Music Hall (where i played when i was a terrified kid).
nice to see the gracious Piano Peddlar there too!
everyone should be so lucky.
i hear there is a chance to actually play this delightful monster coming up soon. yay!

Hi Apple, It was good to see you last Sunday at the Music Hall. We had a very good turnout for our spring theater organ concert. The next one is on Sunday, July 12th, also at 2 PM. Maybe you can invite some of your piano students to attend. Not too many people have had the experience of hearing such a wonderful instrument as this. Here is our website: www.kc-theatreorgan.org.We have a fall program scheduled for Sunday, September 13th, where I will be playing a concert, along with another member. Afterward, we will have an "open console" period, where you and anyone else that would like to try the organ can have an opportunity to play it. I hope you will be able to attend! Warmest regards,
