What??? Oh, Hi. Now I seen where messages are located. And guess what, there are 3! Now I have to get busy. Are we supposed to get regular email notifications of incoming PMs?

Yes, but I've noticed something weird: I'll get an email notifying me of a new PM, but not (always) of a reply posted to an existing PM.
Even stranger, sometimes I'll get an email saying I have a new PM, but the little envelope icon isn't flashing when I'm in PW.
More software bugs, I expect, but I'm trying to train myself to check my messages at least once a day.

Someone replying to you can also delete his or her reply before you read it. In that case the envelope flashes, you hunt high and low and cannot find the reply because in fact it does not exist. And if there are two pages it will bring you to page 1, and you may miss page 2 if you are like me. Fortunately new PM's come in chronological order, unlike the old ones from before. The PMs rearrange themselves chronologically according to the last response. So if you corresponded with A on Mon., B. on Tues., C on Wed., and A responds on Thursday, then A will be above B and C. (think first inversion)  KS

I've gotten email messages, but perhaps your user settings are different John. I'd check under "edit preferences" just to make sure it is set up correctly.
