That's great! Looks to me like its been rebuilt sometime in the past because I've never seen a piano that old that clean! Particularly the bass strings. Good luck on the project!

Yeah, pictures and updates. This is exciting! I'm kinda thinking about making my 3rd, um, 4th, no, um, maybe 5th career change, and I love it that you're in the midst of one. So blogging about your new love on the ABF would be a great thing -

Home for the next few months...  excuse my appereance, 20 hr road trip to Rochestor, NY Bechstein 'C' in the lower corner of picture just in for a rebuild from the Detroit Concert Hall ... Mr SH... I am going to work up to a M&H, but my mentor talked me into S&S for turning purposes...can't wait to have both in the front room - not to sure my wife's to keen on the idea though
