New to the forum. I have found a Roland F-90, mint condition for $500 and a Casio previa px-310 for $390 but I have to make a 4 hour drive to look at it. Which would be a better digital piano for the money? Around $500 is what I have to spend. Please, any input would be much appreciated. Thanks.

anyone know or have any experience with the Roland F-90? The casio previa just sold. I was at GC today and saw a Casio previa px-320 for $599. would I be better off to go with that? I did like the feel of it. Thanks.

The Roland F-90 is not a current board. I'd go with the new Casio, especially since you like the feel of it and it's within your price range. A new machine under warranty is a good thing.

The PX-320 is a very good "budget" piano. Personally, I don't think there is anything to beat it at the price. If you're using it with a band or with external equipment, it has all the ins and outs that you require. The registration memories are really useful for remembering your preferred setups, and there are a lot of extra features onboard. But whilst the grand piano sounds and the feel are excellent, just don't expect too much from the other sounds.
