Does anyone know Yuping Lang from the San Francisco Bay Area?
Unfortunately, our piano teacher whom we love dearly is moving and so we are hunting. The students are two 12 year old boys (my sons) who have been taking lessons for four and five years each. We want a teacher who stresses overall musicality, including theory, can be demanding without demeaning, and can recognize that twins can have different levels of talent, interest, and skill and treat each accordingly.
Of course the teacher we are losing has all this and more, and has recommended Yuping Lang. We have arranged to meet her (for an interview), and may be able to see her student recital, but thought I would also check her references (if anyone knows her here)
