Hello, all. I am new to this composition dealie, so don't expect much of me Here is a small piece I've so creatively named "Prelude in Eb minor." http://www.esnips.com/doc/bdc04dba-9a50-4f9e-bb00-e9ce5c8c578d/PreludeI used FL Studio 8, so please excuse the bad quality... Any feedback is welcome

This is very nice -- I like the thematic development and the use of harmony and counterpoint to move the piece along. Well done!

I'm no expert in this field, so all I can say is that I liked them both. I think the second one should be slightly slower in my opinion. It reminded me a little of Chopin's 8th Prelude.

"I am new to this composition dealie, so don't expect much of me." It's been my experience that most people who excuse themselves with a disclaimer are most of the time actually very good, and this illustrates that once again. I think you could actually fool many non-connoisseurs if you told them some composer from the past had written your prelude, and maybe even your presto. Good job! The harmonies were very interesting.
