After the bear got down from the front of the car, I'll bet the guy didn't know which way he was heading until he came around the front. Bear meat, that's what he is and all the while, his buddy, standing there taking pictures. Nice friend. :-) Getting pics of his buddy turning into mince meat. Boy, talk about "bearing it all."

Yeah, it doesn't look good...unless the fellow was armed.

Smart thinking guy!!!!

Whew! He was able to reach a neighboring unlocked truck and take refuge inside nursing over a hundred scratches. The guy was really lucky.

The bear probably thought he had Al Gore offering himself as endangered polar bear sustenance.

If he was unarmed, the cameraman did exactly the right thing. He shot with what he had.

Yikes! That fellow sure was fortunate to have an unlocked truck nearby. That blog comment had it right. It's downright foolish to travel in that country without a large caliber firearm.

Well, I think that fellow could have used this white "flag" . . . if she hadn't ripped it up first!

I'm sure the bear would have stopped in it's tracks if it saw the "white" flag waving, Right? wink

I wouldn't count on it. Neither "surrender" nor "mercy" are in a hungry bear's vocabulary. [Linked Image]

Yessssssss !!!!

It's so nice and warm outside today, I think it's time to turn the barbeque on and throw some hamburgers on it! I just love this picture! It's a hamburger bed!

We actually aren't having hamburgers tonight! We are having barbequed smokies! Hope there aren't any bears near by! wink

Nice! But I couldn't help but fear sleeping in a burger just the right size for a giant! grin

Oh, yeah, it's a well-known fact that barbequed smokies are a powerful bear attractant. smirk

Why is it that the word bear and buns, seem to just flow so smoothly together? wink

Am scared of bears now, so speaking of buns!

So when you come over for dinner, Jerry, let's have a barbeque!
I'll wear my hamburger dress! . . . and

No, that' ain't me dude. That be you! Hippy style! Long beard, a rough tough savage like dude with a wig. I ain't got much hair left. Enough to comb though. Once. If this guy didn't leave himself enough room to exit you know what? He could be in a real "pickle."

Now, "Lettuces" give thanks to Diane for the entertainment... [Linked Image]
