Here are my recordings from 2005.... I was a senior in high school. Sadly I no longer have all of them....But I remember it was very nerve wracking. I was more nervous then if I was in a recital at the time. I will be posting newer recordings starting next week. And I look forward to see how much I improved since high school. I

Sadly I lost some of the other pieces I played. Chopin's nocturne in C minor op 48. no 1, A few Debussy Preludes. And schubert's impromptu op 90 no 2.

Beethoven: It's F minor, not major wink Quite good. Sounds like there were a few trills/turns that could have been cleaned up. I think you brought out melodies well and had a nice early-Beethoven touch. I think you take a little too much time with those sforzando chords at the end; I like the way you did the LOUD-soft-LOUD-soft, but keeping a slightly more rigid beat would help the ending be more convincing in my opinion. I like the way you did that final chord; not too short, and not too long.

Debussy: A bit slow for my personal taste. It seems to drag a little bit. I think the middle section should be a bit more climactic. It doesn't need to be a crazy virtuosic display, but I think a slight accelerando and crescendo might help provide more contrast to the outer sections. The ending should just die away, but I didn't get that as much, as the tempo was slower to begin with. But I like the dreamy mood you create. There's that signature impressionist blurriness without me thinking "wow, over-pedaling..."

Good job.

Daniel
