Please help is me noob again, i am trying to play this part of boccherini (minuet). The right hand has G note with 3/16 (with a dot) duration follow by a G note with 1/16 duration and the left hand has B flat and D notes with 1/8 duration. i am guessing the left hand and right hand should be played together (these 4 notes). But what troubling me is that the two last notes at the end of the bar, notes D and D one has 1/16 duration (right hand)and one has 1/8 duration (left hand)which one should i follow to the next bar? Please someone explain how this work, may be i am wrong . thanks.

Danlo, your description of the final measure is leaving me somewhat confused. Where do these two Ds come in? You described the first two notes for both left and right hand, but then said something about the last two notes which you really didn't describe well. It appears, from what you've said, that there is a missing rest or some other notes appear that you haven't mentioned. It would help, of course, if you told us the name of the piece so we would have a chance to find the score. Boccherini wrote several minuets so it's not like there's only one.

If, however, the last four notes of the measure are the two Gs in the right hand and the Bb-D in the left hand then the first G and the Bb are played together followed by the D in the left hand and then the second G in the right hand. The G and the D end at the same time.

Could you scan the measure in question and post that? Actually seeing it would really help us help you. smile
