Well pianoloverus,
It was just a thought. If a novice and piano-unliterate is lurking on this forum and read a lot about how demanding prepping can be, that only a minority of dealers do care about pre-sales prepping, then if finally the dealer has not taken care of it properly and as a customer he deserves that special attention he will have to find a dedicated technician [which eventually he might have to pay from his pocket] even questioning if he has sufficient background knowledge as to properly express what he wants ....that potential customer might be put off?
Often when reading the posts on this forum from "the unusual bunch of piano nuts" [i.e. the regular posters], as Keith puts it above and from the unusual bunch of expert quality dealers, would I not be long enough eround here, I think: "an accoustic piano, what a delicate piece of equipment that is to buy".
Afterall, despite the high numbers of posts daily, PWF remains a minority view of piano owners.
