Jazz+,
Hiromi is phenomenal. As a beginning jazz pianist who
constantly searches for the right notes, or overanalyzes anything that comes from my fingers, it is wonderful to watch her as well as listen to her. What I see in her performance on the Japanese TV show is how much she truly enjoys what she's playing... I can only hope to reach that level someday..

The good ones make it look so easy...

Hiromi is such an amazing young pianist. Saw her last year at a jazz festival and had a chance to speak to her afterward. She listed her major piano influences as Oscar Peterson, Keith Jarret, Michel Petrucciani, Chick Corea...
