Has anyone come across a full size, weighted, folding keyboard? ... I did a google seach and didn't find anything, but it seems this should exist!

Yes, the Infinite Response keyboard was featured at Winter NAMM I believe. From the guys that actually went to the trade show, the consensus seemed to be that while the it has tons of potential and the inventors were as nice as can be, the action leaves a lot to be desired. It seemed to be way too light and shallow to be considered "piano-like," if I remember their reviews correctly.

The Vax 77 is close - but has just 77 keys - I assume so that it meets air travel carry-on requirements. A shame they didn't get the touch quality better and launched a Vax 88.

Any news on this? I just looked at their website and the product looks quite intriguing, though 77 keys is not useful to me. More worrying is the source HTML of the page (go to their homepage and view source). I wrote them to alert them it may have been hacked for spammage, but no reply. Any recent info on the company and product?

This is relevant to me as I am currently planning to build my RD-700SX into the lab desk in my sailboat, but if a tidily stowable model were to appear I might re-think that.

I folded one once by accident. Apparently it wasn't the designer's intent though and it never worked again.

@Ludwig - Haha. Yeah, it helps if they're hinged. I hope it wasn't an expensive one.
