I went to work on only 4 hours sleep. Normal that's Ok, but I did the same thing the day before. It all adds up.

I was a meanie, too.
I told a student today, that our lesson time was up, and she said "Awww, can't you stay a bit longer?"

Comments like that, make me feel real mean, but kinda warm and fuzzy inside :-)

Well, I guess I was a meanie, too.

My student bought the book on the way over to my house. Of course, I told Mom to get the book weeks ago. I even called the store to make sure it's in stock. Obviously, the student didn't get any chance to practice before coming over.

We spent 90 minutes sight-reading our way through one piece.

Ouch, AZN. That always bothers me, so now I buy the books for them and just send home an invoice for the cost. Now the student goes home ready to practice with no excuses smile.

Doesn't that just tick you off?! When they can't get to the store after a month's notice Grrr.
I try to have every lesson book on hand, or at least one that will work until they get it, just for that very reason. urgh. Morodiene, do you charge a fee then for doing their errands for them? Lol
