I have a friend in DC (Capitol Hill) who would like to arrange for piano lessons for his partner's birthday. It'll be a surprise, but his partner actually has a piano and has wanted to get started. Does anyone has a suggestion for a teacher? I know there is the Levine School of Music, which has a very developed web site. Also there is the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop, which has private piano instruction. This looks to be a smaller program, but it would near their home. I think the "giftee" would like to learn classical piano.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions.
