Anyone know anything about them?

My church has the opportunity to take one absolutely free. Church in our area has gone all keyboard, and rock band crazy. When we compare it to our 35+ year old Rodgers with its old technology, it seems like a no-brainer. We had it somewhat rebuilt 3 years ago with expectations that it would hold us for 3-5 years.

By the way, it has all the midi stuff, and a set of chimes to boot. Plus being newer digital technology.

Anyone know anything about this organ, which we believe is about 14 years old.

The MDS 26 received some good reviews over the Organ Forum.

I have not played one myself, so couldn't tell you from experience. They are mid90's vintage, I think.

If everything else failed you could still run the MIDI through software and come out ahead.

If you don't want it, let me know; I'll borrow a truck and come down and get it. I'm in Virginia, it wouldn't be too far to go for a good practice organ. Not sure how I'd get it down my basement stairs though.
